Weight Loss Failure

One of the most important things in weight loss, is not to set yourself up for failure. I set myself up for failure so many times, when I watch videos I can identify some actions people are taking to "lose weight" as things I did which actually set myself up for failure……

I couldn't agree with you more on your thoughts Sharon. Setting myself up for failure is definitely something I've done numerous times while on my journey. Luckily I've learned the beauty of self-reflection & I try to pay close attention to the intuitive and affective aspects of questioning my own assumptions, beliefs and perspectives on weight loss. With that said, I realized I couldnt measure my success merely by a number on the scale there is so much more to it. Thank u for ur terrific vids!

I finally placed it!!! Sharon, you look like Anna Paquin :) Especially if you had blonde hair but still I can see she is definitely your celebrity look-alike, lol. LOVE your videos you are so informative, honest and inspiring. Thank you and congratulations on your successful journey.

Hi Sharon about time I commented and just lookioked back through your vids and the 2009 sanctuary vid. You look even more amazing then you did before the weight loss journal.

i think when i finally started to win the battle of weight loss was when i stopped putting an expectation down on how much i wanted to lose and by when. when you stop thinking about it as a "diet" and look at the bigger picture meaning a life journey…that's when gaining a pound here and there in the grand scheme of things is so miniscule. eat better, workout…the rest will follow.

great vid!

MrHollick @ 7:02 pm

Good video, one great tip not to set yourself up and to actually lose weight is to replace the focus of eating wit something more positive. Its all about lifestyle changes.

sushicatny @ 7:02 pm

yeah at the begining that is normal

nightgangl7 @ 7:02 pm

you're so right , i don't care if i lose 1 pound a week i will still be happy but in 4 days i lost 8 pounds but its my first week so the weights comming off easy and i been eating good
so idk , i eat what i want but smaller portions and count my caloried this works best for me otherwise if i cant have what i want i will binge ehhh

orlsrr @ 7:02 pm
