You are truly an inspiration!! I am so happy for you. I am finally getting to where I want to be ( only 35 lbs left out of 80!! YEAH!!) so I totally love seeing others getting where they headed. I often wish that surgery were an option for me, but due to a bleeding disorder that doesn't allow me to clot properly, no surgeon will come within 10 feet of me unless it's an emergency. Oh, well… I'll just work that much harder. Congratulations, sweetheart…keep up the good work!!

& 9 times out of 10, it is not even POSSIBLE to get that skin to firm up without surgery. It causes quite a few problems and if it is within your means to get it surgically removed, more power to you. Congrats on your weight loss!

I am paying for all of it myself. In fact, I did not even file it with my insurance even though I would get rashes under where my stomach hung down. I understand that I am getting "extra" done. However, I am only sharing this story so that others can be educated, inspired, etc. My motivation to lose my weight all came from within (I had no lapband surgery, etc.) However, when it comes to this…I could not firm up my skin. There is a huge difference between EXCESS skin and LOOSE skin.

Total it will be $40,000….something like that.

Don't be thick…If she thought no one would congratulate her she wouldn't put videos up. I'm not downplaying her achievement. I know how hard it is. But I see people in the paper, or on the internet that get columns of support for getting lap band surgery, or losing 100 lbs on some game show. It's not the right kind of inspiration. Unless your the victim of an unfortunate health disorder your motivation should be within. A psychological foundation to build from.

What are you even talking about? She's not asking for a pat on the back. She's celebrating her change and sharing it with people who care about her and those who she inspires.
