Thanks. It never ever kinks up. That's why I will never use another rope. It's also the lightest out there,mainly for speed roping. I use it for both speed and endurance.
Does the Aerospeed ever kink up? When I learned to jump, I started with a cheap vinyl and a leather rope, both kinked on me. Been using a 1 lb. power rope and a sparq speedrope. the steel cable in the sparq makes all the difference and the power rope also never kinks. keep it up!
I'll make it simple for you… Aim to loose a pound a week. You have plenty of time. If you loose more, great. Your routine sounds good, but make sure to eat well. Your calves will get toned as well as your stomach as a result of the fat you will loose. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I have been able to touch so many lives with my weight loss.
Hey =] I need to lose 10 lbs by august I am 5 feet and I plan to eat about 1300 calories a day ( I have big appetite so its hard) and I weight 112 right now. If I continue to jump rope 30 minutes a day & run 2 miles.. how long do you think it'll take me 2 lose 10 lbs =/ I have always had a lot of muscle cuz I was on the boys drill team & my calves are not slim. Do you think jump rope will help me get slimmer calves and a flatter stomach? Thank you so much. You are inspirational.

Everyone's different. Aim for 2 - 3 lbs. a week. Just take your time, or you will lose your muscle with too much cardio. Make sure you eat enough to keep your body burning fat, but not too much where you're storing fat.

im 14 and a girl. i want to lose weight by jan 31st. i was planning on jumping 30-45 mins a day 5 days a week (and eat healthy and 1400 calories) how much would you say i could lose (i am a muscular girl , 5 foot 4 and 160lbs. i have about 0.7 inches on my biggest part of my stomach. im the strongest girl in jr high)

Skip rope for at least an hour to loose fat, workout with weights to gain the muscle.
hey i weigh about 230 im 18, i do powerlifting training so i didnt want to shift my diet around and cut out a ton of calories and fat. im just cutting out some and eliminating junkfood. i was looking to shed 10lbs and get to the 200 weightclass. i recently started skipping rope and its a great workout. i do i about 3-4 times a week for about 10-15 minutes plus heavybag training. i was just wondering how long it would take to cut down to 220? just out of curiosity
hi im 14 and i want to lose weight and build muscle cuz im in a high school wrestling team but our coach doesnt work us hard enuff so i wanna get some work outs at home so i have a skipping rope and i wanna know how long i should skip rope for a day and wat kind of weight training i could maybe do.i dont want to sound like a freak or anything but i finally want my six pack to show since i actually have1 but my fat covers it up so plzz help me if u can

It will, but very slowly at that rate. Weights will build your shoulders much faster. You will get more endurance than anything.
hey im training to be a boxer "im not really 40 like my profile says, im 14" and i was wondering if i jump rope for 3 mins everyday does that really build your shoulders?
use the aerospeed II. You'll have more fun with the speed rope since it's lighter.

I've been jumping for 3 years now. I only jump rope for cardio except every other Sunday when I run 13 - 26 miles. I just jumped so I could last without messing up for as long as possible.
Hell, you're the best jumper I ever seen. You barely leave the ground when you let the cord pass under your feet. How much practice you did to get that far?
I suppose you don't only jumped rope to get better, you did it striving for perfect technique.
Hello, I have been using the Rubber Jump Rope for a very logn time now - roughly 6 months, do you think I should switch to a different model?
such as speed-ropes?
the rope I am using now is it slowing down the progress cause it's heavier then other types?

I really couldn't tell you. Since your pain is in your ankle. You might want to see a doctor. If you have to do cardio, try the impact free machines such as the elliptical. This will give your joints a chance to heal while you can still get a good cardio workout in.
Wonderful,mate,it's a real pleasure to watch such a fluid jumping.l started to jump rope recently but hurt my left ankle.I stopped for a week but yesterday the pain returned after jumping.Can you give me some advise bout what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future?When do l know my ankle has healed to start to jump again?Tnx,l'd appreciate your advise very much.
