hehe. good job on the water! Thats a toughie for a lot of people. We will be introducing some health focused dishes pretty soon so stay tuned!
ive been eating 2 tuna sandwiches and drink only water everyday day for almost a month and ive been losing weight like crazy… lol
Agreed to your points. Instead of dealing with a chicken and egg situation if people just started eating healthy first, everything falls into place. When you eat healthy, then all of a sudden all of these crazy diet plans and strategies go out the window. I think a lot of it is really common sense.. purging junk food, purging soda, and purging empty calories.
"To me healthy eating=healthy person" that's true.
but when most people want to lose weight it is because they have body issues, and they use food as a comfort for themselves. and until they address the emotional reason behind their way of eating and thinking they will never truly succeed or enjoy life.
i prefer changing feelings inside you first. and then let your eating habits fall into place. instead of struggling to lose weight when you have suppressed feelings you're not dealing with
i totally agree on your statement about counting calories.. look at 1:42 and i post a message about it. I do appreciate your comments on this video though. It's just that healthy eating, cooking, weight loss is such a complicated topic that it has to be taken a step at a time. To me healthy eating=healthy person.
well everyone is entitled to share their opinions or facts. and I'm not going look down on you as you did give some good advice. I just feel some advice was missing or could have been explained differently
and about the obsessing thing. not sure if you've been overweight. but as you start to count calories when you're losing weight it can usually become an obsession, and lots of people end up becoming a control freak around calories and end up setting themselves up for failure&eating disorders
again.. its 'try to eat'. I never said make a mandated schedule. Take the advice with your own grain of salt.
as said earlier.. this is only one tip so chill. If you want to see my punch line, my long term solution is to help people filter out empty calories (junk food, soda) and replace it with whole fruits and vegetables and then finally to cook healthy.
I never said to obsess over calories. People do need to have a basic understanding of weight loss thought (positive and negative).
I actually don't agree with calorie counting.. but hey this is one tip not a comprehensive solution.
what you are saying about calories isn't true. your body knows how to eliminate unwanted calories without exercising.
for 1 month i was consuming an average of 2550calories. with no exercise what so ever. I was bed bound recovering from a problem. I actually lost 2pounds.
obsessing about calories is not a healthy way to lose weight.
why wasn't one of your tips "Eat when you are hungry"?
if you allow yourself to become hungry or ravenous you will end up eating a considerable amount of extra food than what you would have done if you ate when you first noticed the subtle signs of hunger.
"try to eat at a regular timed interval"
eating at a planned time goes against your bodies natural urges to eat when you are hungry. basically you'd be ignoring your body. when people are overweight it is because they are ignoring their body. if you plan times to eat. there is a high chance you will be hungry before then. if you're hungry and you don't eat your body will think there is a famine and will go into fat storage mode and store extra calories.
don't make schedules for eating food
