True Say,
American 's eat un-healthy compared to japanese people and you cant really judge unless you try it

jenstarlast @ 11:50 pm

Yeah I think the diet was assuming you are already eating what you want for dinner and lunch (hence, why you need to lose weight haha)… not to change and eat even worse than you were to start with… Plus, the foods and tastes that are popular in Japan differ greatly from what is popular here. It sounds like she didn't do much research…

It's the people that think they can just eat anything after they eat bananas they are idiots. When I did it I ate 3 or 4 bananas and ate for each meal small meals which were usually yogurts and a few wheat thins, or a small turkey sandwich.

People are just doing it wrong! Keep your "whatever you want" meals small and light and it'll definitely work.

flyxmij @ 11:50 pm

uh hello common sense, no one is gonna eat like 10 bananas. and when on a diet plan, one should know not to gobble up fries and burgers even though its said that you can eat whatever you want. the typical japanese family meals are quite healthy. 1 small bowl of rice, 2-3 small simple dishes, miso soup, and tea or sometimes maybe even only soba noodle and tea or curry rice and tea, etc. remember that this diet is from a different culture, the food they eat is different than in america.

ilikecoke @ 11:50 pm

no no she said it right. she did say that "it is a recipe for disaster for MOST people" ONLY if you're not eating healthy during this diet. what kind of an idiot would believe that you'll lose weight even eating pizza and all the junk? SO she did state her point, you people should really listen before posting something that wasn't even said.

oh and this diet is pretty legit if u stick to a healthy diet.

xxrookiexx1 @ 11:50 pm

lol, i think you would make a better news reporter then her. =)

free2rhyme214 @ 11:50 pm

I agree. The lady on here is retarded.

It's simple why the diet works and I've been using rice and bananas for awhile to lose/stay at a healthy weight.

ribcat @ 11:50 pm

criticize all u want. it kind of works for me. didn't know this was a fad in japan. i eat 3 banans in the morning and they help me to feel full until i eat lunch. i eat 1 banana at 4pm. so far, i've lost 15lbs over 2 months.

xxrookiexx1 @ 11:50 pm

omg, she is soooooo retarded!!!! what the banana diet is saying keep eating a REGULAR lunch and dinner!!!!! while you take the diet. so if you normaly eat a sandwhich for lunch then keep eating a sandwhich when your on the diet!!!!! dont switch to pizza every day or something stupid!!!!

— omg they need to check the IQ of news reporters before the let them on TV!
