Hemp Protein? Acai Berries?
Normally I'd think you were a prissy treehugger, but looking at your conditioning I'll have to give these a closer look.

Thank You

Yes I have this shake for breakfast every morning, not only does it satisfy my hunger it provides me with awesome energy to train jiu-jitsu. In the sport Jiu-JItsu there is a lot of movement so feeling full but not heavy or bloated is essential for me.
ur friggin hot!
great shake
Great recipe Mike. Very sound nutritional principles being espoused here. Too often, those wishing to add muscle bulk pump their bodies full of acid forming whey proteins with toxic aspartame and acesulfame-K. Your smoothie and use of hemp protein shows that you have put a great deal of thought into your nutrition and training. I salute you. PS - I know a great deal about physiology and nutrition because I am an MD, and no, I don't know Mike or work with him.
Do you have a shake everyday? I really want to try it out :). I've been eyeing up those acai frozen packets for a while now. Perfect reason to go by them and try the shake out lol! Thank You!
o well you do have an amzing level of fitness it seems. and i have watched other vids of yours . very helpful.
AND I TRAIN FOR HEALTH
Protein is overrated, I have been working in a gym for over 10 years. Believe me I seen everything from protein shakes to people eating ground turkey in between sets of their exercise. WE ALL NEED PROTEIN TO LIVE, my point is that people think protein is essential for exercise. If your trying to be a bodybuilder I understand why you would consume not just a ton of protein but calories as well. But talk to most pro's and they will tell you their life style of eating is not for HEALTH BUT FOR SIZE
No the smoothie is not effective because of glutinous carbs, besides a banana is not a glutinous carb. The shake is is great because of the health benefits of:
Cinnamon (regulates blood sugar, very good for heart)
Banana (energy booster, source of iron, potassium and more)
Acai (Antioxidant, great for heart, great fro digestion)
Coconut water(carries nutrients to oxygen cells, boosts immunity, great for metabolism and more)
I never said protein is not necessary, I said it's over rated. I you are correct I do not train for mass, but if I did I would eat more calories not scarf a ton of protein. Besides that please look at my other videos, and it will show the way I train especially my bench press
you prob don't think protein is necessary, because you can tell you dont really need it because you don't train for mass.
No I've been EATING acai for about 8 years ago. I learned about from my Brazilian friends. However I did not start eating for health reasons, I actually love the taste.
